For more than 35 years, Cala Renee Salon has been proud to be part of the Beverly community. What began as a small family salon on Cabot Street has grown into a salon dedicated to exceptional service, continued education, and a passion for helping our clients look and feel their best.
We know you have a choice when it comes to your hair, and we are truly grateful that you choose us. Whether this is your first visit or your 100th, our goal is to make every experience feel special, personal, and welcoming.
Changing Lives One Curl at a Time
Our journey with curly hair began in the 1990s, when we discovered just how transformative it could be to truly understand and celebrate natural curls. By 2005, we had embraced our identity as Curly Girls, and curly hair became an important part of our salon's specialty.
Today, our stylists are trained to work with both straight and curly hair and have specialized education in Deva Curl and Lorraine Massey's Curl by Curl Cutting techniques, along with hands-on training with Cala herself.
We cut curly hair dry, allowing us to see each curl in its natural state and create a shape that works with your unique texture, movement, and lifestyle. We believe education is just as important as the haircut, which is why we take the time to teach our clients how to understand and care for their curls at home.

We believe great stylists never stop learning. As a team, we are committed to staying inspired, educated, and current with the latest techniques, trends, and innovations in the industry.
Over the years, we have traveled together for educational opportunities and industry events, including Premiere Hair Shows in New York and Orlando and specialized curly-hair training. These experiences have helped us grow not only as stylists, but also as a team.
Our commitment to education means we continue to bring new ideas, techniques, and inspiration back to our salon and, most importantly, to you.

More Than a Salon
Cala Renee Salon is more than a place to get your hair done. We strive to create a safe, welcoming space where you can relax, communicate openly, learn, and feel truly cared for.
Giving back to our community is also an important part of who we are. Each October, our salon goes pink as we raise money and awareness for Breast Cancer Awareness. In March, we support Multiple Sclerosis awareness and research and continue to look for meaningful ways to make a difference.
